Dear Niece
Just a
few lines in answer to yours which we received quite
safe, also the photo.
We was ever so pleased to get a
picture of your Mother and to think she was keeping
so well, and we think the picture was real good of
her and we was pleased with your picture too and we
think you look young for your age.
We
ourselves are getting on in years now. I shall
be 76 in June and your Aunt Annie just had a Birthday
the 26th of March and she was 74. We
was pleased to hear your Mother was so comfortable
with Alma and Clara, there is no family of ours
living about here now.
I am
the only one. Brother Johns wife, Mary
Ann, is still living in Wiltshire and she is over 80
years. Edwin Loder (a friend) is still alive
but a invalid. He have been bedridden 15 years.
His sister Grace looks after him. Your Mother
will know who I mean and he wishes to be remembered
to your Mother.
We and
family all sends our kindest love to your Mother and
yourself.
So I
think this is all the news this time. Hope to
hear from you again soon.
From
your loving Uncle and Aunt, Maurice and Annie Black
